In the “How to Host a Rumor” workshop, Masha demonstrated the anatomy of a whisper: it needs a credible half-truth, a willing co-conspirator, and a destination. She taught rumor like a craftsperson teaches knots — with hands and quietly inflected metaphors. The students left feeling clever and slightly dangerous.
Every evening closed with a ritual Masha insisted upon: the Collective Reading. A circle formed, people brought excerpted texts and found passages they were ashamed or proud to claim.
